Dr. Kaplan received a Bachelors of Science degree from Boston University, a doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Kansas City College of Health Sciences, did an internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington, Michigan and a pulmonary fellowship at Queens Medical Center in New York. He has specialized in critical care and emergency medicine since 1988.
Dr. Kaplan specializes in urgent and primary health care. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board in internal medicine, and board eligible in emergency and pulmonary medicine. In addition to working at East Grand Health Center in Danforth- his services are shared with the St. Croix Health Center located in Princeton.

Michelle's education combines Physician Assistant studies, and Biological/Behavioral Science degrees both times making the deans list and has numerous academic achievement awards. Her work experience has included overseeing the Emergency Departments at Maine General Medical Center and currently Mount Desert Island Hospital. Michelle is Dr. Kaplan's wife and like Dr. Kaplan, Michelle is very compassionate to those in need. "It is helping people that makes coming to work every day fulfilling". David has 20 plus years experience and comes to EGHC in cooperation with Aroostook Mental Health Center. Dr. Lawrence Crystal, DPM
Dr. Lawrence Crystal, D.P.M. has been practicing podiatric medicine in Aroostook County since 1980. His current practice consists of clinics at the Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC), Cary Medical Center, and various Federally Qualified Health Centers in Aroostook, Washington and Penobscot Counties. He joined East Grand Health Center in 2007.
He is on the active medical staff at TAMC and was Chief of Staff from 2005-2007. Dr. Crystal is board certified in podiatric medicine by the American Board of Primary Podiatric Medicine and board certified in quality assurance by the American Board of Quality Review and Utilization Physicians. Currently, he is serving as Chair of the Performance Improvement Council at TAMC. He is also certified in medical coding by the American Health Information Management Association and is currently completing a degree in Health Information Management. In addition to his practice and hospital responsibilities, Dr. Crystal completed the Hanley Leadership Development program in 2009. The Hanley Center for Health Leadership is devoted to improving the health of Maine residents by developing collaborations throughout Maine. He has lectured on the topic of quality and organizational culture for improving healthcare to various organizations in Maine and for the Indian Health Service.

Dawn is a Family Nurse Practitioner that specializes in family medicine and treats patients of all ages. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from UMO and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Husson College. Dawn is also a long time resident of Aroostook county.
